Healthy Chocolate Syrup

Never thought you could make healthy chocolate syrup that is good for your teeth, promotes cardiovascular health & improves calcium and magnesium absorption?! Well now you can!
Healthy Chocolate Syrup
1/2 cup raw cacao
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup xylitol*
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
1-2 teaspoon unrefined coconut oil
Combine the water, xylitol, raw cacao**, and salt together in a saucepan over low heat; whisk constantly until the mixture thickens and begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir the vanilla and coconut oil into the sauce. Serve warm or cover and refrigerate until serving. 
*Can substitute with other healthy sweetener of choice (if using honey or agave use 1/2 cup)
 **Heating the cacao may harm some nutrients, so you can also stir it in after you have removed it from the heat and has slightly cooled.
Or if you are a sweet person, add more sweetener!!
